I’m heading to San Francisco this week for the 33rd Annual Tri-Con Precision Medicine Innovation Conference—an event that reflects the future of diagnostics, drug development, and data-driven healthcare. This year’s theme, Entering the Age of AI, couldn’t be more timely.

I’m especially energized by the advancements emerging across precision medicine, including liquid biopsy biomarkers for MRD and MCED, AI‑enabled drug development, next‑generation at‑home and point‑of‑care diagnostics, infectious disease detection, and the expanding role of AI in biomarker discovery and multi‑omic analysis. Our field is at a true inflection point, where scientific rigor, computational power, and clinical need are finally converging.
